The first session is a good opportunity for you to get a sense of whether you feel comfortable to continue working together. It is also a chance for you to discuss in more detail what you hope you work on through therapy as well as for any questions you have about the process answered.
By the end of the session, we will have determined whether working together will be a good fit for the both of us, after which if so, we will make arrangements for future sessions.
If working together is not a good fit, we will then discuss other resources or referrals that will better suit your needs.
