Couples therapy

Whether you are experiencing issues in your relationship or want to further nurture and deepen your relationship, therapy provides the space to do so together as a couple.

Areas of focus in couples therapy span the developmental stages of a relationship. Topics of exploration include understanding existing dynamics and patterns, issues related to disconnection or infidelity, or navigating difficult life decisions such as separation or divorce.

Couples therapy sessions are typically 1.5 hour long and available in person or through online video call.

THE FIRST VISIT

The first session is an opportunity to get a sense of whether you feel comfortable to continue working together. It is also a chance to discuss in more detail what you hope to work on through therapy as well as for any questions you have about the process to be answered.

By the end of the session, we will have determined whether working together will be a good fit for the both of us, after which if so, we will make arrangements for future sessions.

If working together is not a good fit, we will then discuss other resources or referrals that will better suit your needs.
